Phillies' Damon Jones: Optioned to Triple-A

Jones was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Jones was called up by Philadelphia on Tuesday, and he allowed a run in two innings over two relief appearances during his stint with the major-league club. He's tossed three scoreless frames in the minors this year and will attempt to maintain his success in Lehigh Valley.
