Phillies' Frank Herrmann: Notches first victory with two-inning stint Friday

Herrmann (1-2) fired two perfect innings in Friday's 5-4 extra-inning victory over the Marlins.

He was masterful over his brief time on the mound, firing 13 of 18 pitches for strikes. Herrmann has largely struggled this season, giving up at least one earned run in five of his nine appearances in 2016. He's settled down some in September, posting a solid 3.18 ERA over 5.2 innings.
