Phillies' Matt Joyce: Placed on injured list

Joyce was placed on the 10-day injured list with a calf injury Wednesday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Joyce had gone hitless with two runs, three walks and three strikeouts in his last nine games, but he's been bothered by calf and ankle injuries. Mickey Moniak and Scott Kingery were called up after Joyce and Roman Quinn (finger) were placed on the injured list.
