Rays' Aaron Slegers: To offer depth this season

Slegers will be a part of the Rays' 60-man player pool this season, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

He was in camp with the Rays on a minor-league contract and now figures to offer organizational bullpen depth. Slegers is not a part of the group that will be training at Tropicana Field, so he is unlikely to play a major role this season.
