Rays' Cristofer Ogando: Optioned to Triple-A

Ogando was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Monday.

Ogando's contract was selected by the Rays ahead of their series in Toronto, and he allowed a run on a hit and a walk while striking out one in two innings during his major-league debut Sunday. After serving as a replacement player, he'll remain on the 40-man roster, while J.P. Feyereisen (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Monday.
