The veteran outfielder has been more competent at the plate recently, hitting .290 with three walks and nine RBI in his last 10 games. Kiermaier's .242 average is on pace to be his highest since he hit .276 in 2017. Brett Phillips is playing center field and batting seventh Saturday.
