McKenry signed a minor league contract with the Rays on Friday, Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reports.
He's bounced from one organization to another over the past calendar year; from the Rangers to the Cardinals to the Braves to the Brewers and now the Rays. McKenry did have a couple decent seasons earlier in his career and can still take a walk and hit for a little power at nearly 32 years old, but it may take an injury behind the plate for him to get a look in Tampa Bay.
