Red Sox's Konner Wade: Joins Red Sox's organization

Wade signed a minor-league deal with the Red Sox on Friday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Wade last pitched in affiliated baseball in 2017 and never reached higher than Double-A. The 27-year-old had most recently been pitching for the Sugar Land Skeeters of the independent Atlantic League. He'll be assigned to Double-A Portland.
