Moreland is dealing with a fractured left big toe but intends to play through the injury, Jason Mastrodonato of the Boston Herald reports.
Moreland is back in the lineup Thursday after taking a day off Wednesday, but it seems like he's still not at 100 percent and won't be for some time. "It's one of those things you can't do a lot for," the first baseman commented. "Just try to make it comfortable until it's gone." He'll continue to be the primary first baseman for Boston, although it wouldn't be too surprising if he gets a few extra days off in order to limit the amount of pain he experiences.
