Reds' Alfredo Rodriguez: Added to 60-man pool

Rodriguez will be a part of the Reds' 60-man player pool this season.

The 26-year-old shortstop is not on the 40-man roster and has only played 23 career games at Triple-A, hitting .169 with zero home runs. Known more for his glove than his bat -- he has never been a league average hitter by wRC+ -- Rodriguez is unlikely to make much of an impact in the majors this season.
