Herget cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Sunday.
Herget is no longer on the Reds' 40-man roster but will remain in the organization. The right-hander has posted a 5.18 ERA and 13:6 K:BB over 24.1 innings in the majors in 2023.
