Royals' Geoff Hartlieb: Catches on with K.C.

Hartlieb signed a minor-league contract with the Royals on Wednesday.

After being released from his minor-league deal with Detroit last week, Hartlieb quickly caught on with a new organization, his third stop of the season. Hartlieb previously made four appearances in the big leagues this season between the Yankees and Tigers, giving up eight earned runs over 3.1 innings.
