Royals' Matt Beaty: Outrighted to Omaha

The Royals sent Beaty outright to Triple-A Omaha on Thursday.

Beaty was designated for assignment by the Royals on Monday, and he'll officially remain within the organization after clearing waivers. Beaty slashed .230/.347/.295 with four RBI across 72 plate appearances in the majors this season.
