Royals' Seuly Matias: Added to 60-man pool

Matias will be a part of the Royals' 60-man player pool this season, Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes reports.

Matias is coming off a disastrous 2019 season during which he hit .148 with 98 strikeouts in 221 plate appearances at High-A prior to fracturing his left hand. He will be able to train with the Royals' best young prospects but probably won't be seeing any MLB action in 2020.
