Tigers' Derek Holland: Rehab assignment on tap

Holland (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo on Thursday.

Holland has been on the injured list since May 3 due to a left shoulder strain, but his rehab assignment should be the final step in his recovery process. Holland likely won't need to build up his workload since he pitches in short stints, so he may not require much time with Triple-A Toledo before returning to the Tigers' bullpen.
