Twins' Max Kepler: Day off Friday

Kepler is not in the lineup Friday against the Cubs, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Kepler hits the bench even with a righty (Kyle Hendricks) starting for the Cubs. He's gone hitless in his last three games and in seven of his last 10, hitting .108/.154/.108 over that stretch. Jake Cave will be the right fielder Friday.
