Twins' Max Kepler: Day off versus lefty

Kepler is not in the starting lineup Monday versus Boston.

Kepler will get a day off as the Twins face off with left-hander James Paxton on the mound Monday. Alex Kirilloff will take over in right field and bat fifth in the series opener with the Red Sox, although he's also a lefty bat.
