Twins' Wilfredo Tovar: Cleared from COVID-19 IL

Tovar was removed from the COVID-19 injured list but did not make Minnesota's Opening Day 30-man roster. He remains in the 60-man player pool.

Tovar was cleared after testing positive for COVID-19 and will remain at Minnesota's alternative training site in St. Paul. He gives the Twins veteran infield depth if needed.
