Yankees' Jeisson Rosario: Loses 40-man spot

The Yankees designated Rosario for assignment Thursday.

He's now been designated for assignment twice in just over two weeks, as Boston previously dropped Rosario from its 40-man roster before he was claimed by the Yankees on March 26. If the 22-year-old outfielder is able to clear waivers this time around, he'll stick in the New York organization and will likely report to Double-A Somerset.
