Cavaliers' Cedi Osman: Status unclear as of Monday

Osman (COVID-19 protocols) did not take part in Monday's practice, Evan Dammarell of Locked On Cavs reports.

Coach J.B. Bickerstaff told the media that Darius Garland cleared COVID-19 protocols and practiced Monday, but he noted that Osman did not participate in the session, so it's possible he's still in protocols. It's also possible that Osman was withheld for conditioning purposes, so for the time being he should be considered very much questionable for Tuesday's home matchup against the Grizzlies. With Ricky Rubio (knee) done for the season and Isaac Okoro set to miss multiple weeks with an elbow injury, Osman should be set for a boosted role once he's back with the team.
