49ers' Jared Mayden: Signs future deal with 49ers

Mayden signed a future/reserve contract with the 49ers on Wednesday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

After suffering a quad injury during Week 10, Mayden is recovered and will join the 49ers for the 2021 campaign. During the two games in which the safety participated, he played in 24 special teams snaps and had one solo tackle.
