Jaguars' Toby Gerhart: Does not practice Wednesday

Gerhart (groin) did not practice Wednesday, John Oehser of jaguars.com reports.

Gerhart was able to play last Sunday against the Chargers despite being listed on the injury report with a nagging groin injury, so it seems likely Wednesday's practice status is merely for precautionary reasons. That being said, Gerhart is firmly entrenched as the No. 3 running back for the Jaguars and likely won't see many opportunities in the backfield so long as T.J. Yeldon and Denard Robinson remain healthy.
