Nick Thurman: Waived with injury settlement

The Patriots waived Thurman (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Friday, independent NFL journalist Aaron Wilson reports.

Thurman rejoined the Patriots during training camp after he was waived by the team in November, but he suffered an injury during the preseason. The nature and severity of the issue aren't yet known, but he'll be eligible to sign with another team and take the field once he's healthy.
