Panthers' Lamar Jackson: Makes plays vs. Patriots

Jackson recorded two total tackles and defended two passes during Thursday's 17-3 preseason loss to the Patriots.

Jackson started opposite Dane Jackson during Thursday's preseason contest. The former didn't disappoint, breaking up a pair of passes to go along with his two tackles. The Panthers' first three cornerback spots seem set in stone with Jaycee Horn, Dane Jackson and Troy Hill, but Lamar Jackson could easily slot in as Carolina's No. 4 corner if he continues to impress throughout the preseason.
