Raiders' Rod Smith: Cleared from ailment

Smith (illness) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

Smith landed on the reserve list on Aug. 6, but as evidenced by this news, he finally cleared the appropriate protocols to return to practice. Now healthy, the 28-year-old looks to be competing with Devontae Booker for the No. 4 role in Las Vegas' backfield, behind Josh Jacobs, Jalen Richard and Lynn Bowden.
