Zach Evans: Officially let go by Jets

The Jets waived Evans from the reserve/retired list Tuesday, Howard Balzer of USA Today reports.

Evans will hang up his cleats after a two-year NFL career. The 2023 sixth-round pick saw his only regular-season action in his rookie season with the Rams, when he turned nine carries into 19 yards across 10 regular-season games while mostly playing on special teams.
