Avalanche's Danil Gushchin: Recalled from AHL

Gushchin was called up from AHL Colorado on Saturday.

Gushchin was recalled as the Avalanche are down to 11 healthy forwards with Gavin Brindley (concussion) day-to-day at this time. Gushchin was off to a great start in the AHL, tallying nine goals and a pair of assists in 11 appearances. He should see fourth-line action with Zakhar Bardakov and Parker Kelly, if Brindley is unable to play in Edmonton on Saturday.
