Blues' Hugh McGing: Cut from camp

McGing was placed on waivers Sunday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

McGing registered eight goals and 39 points in 51 regular-season games with AHL Springfield in 2023-24. The 26-year-old forward is still looking for his first NHL point following six regular-season appearances with the Blues over the past two campaigns, including five outings last season. He will probably spend most of 2024-25 in the minors.
