Canadiens' Jacob Fowler: NHL debut Thursday

Fowler will make his NHL debut defending the road goal in Pittsburgh on Thursday, Eric Engels of Sportsnet reports.

Fowler is the Canadiens' goalie of the future, and the future begins now for the 21-year-old. Fowler was outstanding at the AHL level this season, posting a 10-5-0 record with three shutouts, a 2.09 GAA and a .919 save percentage. The Penguins are ninth in NHL scoring, generating 3.14 goals per game.
