Canadiens' Owen Beck: Sent to minors

Beck was reassigned to AHL Laval on Friday in what the Canadiens described as a paper transaction.

Beck will probably be recalled by Montreal in the near future. He has one assist and 20 hits in 11 appearances in 2024-25. Moving Beck to the AHL, even briefly, keeps him eligible for service with Laval for the remainder of the season.
