Canucks' Brandon Prust: Clears waivers, goes to Utica

Prust cleared waivers Wednesday and has been sent to AHL Utica, Ben Kuzma of the Vancouver Province reports.

Prust was placed on waivers Tuesday, but went unclaimed and will now join the team's AHL affiliate. The winger will serve as organizational depth, but could be recalled later in the season if the Canucks are in need of another forward.
