Flyers' Wade Allison: Recovery timetable clarified

Allison suffered an MCL sprain in Saturday's contest versus Buffalo, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports Sunday.

Allison logged 8:16 of ice time -- 1:11 during the power play -- and three shots on goal in his first NHL appearance of the season Saturday. He exited the game early with an MCL sprain. The 24-year-old is not expected to return until the All-Star break, which begins Feb. 4. The first Flyers game after the break is scheduled for Feb. 9 against Detroit.
