Hurricanes' Josiah Slavin: Waived for AHL demotion

Slavin was waived Sunday with the intent to assign him to AHL Chicago.

Slavin notched 10 goals and 24 points in 70 games with AHL Toronto during the 2023-24 regular season. He will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors.
