Lightning's Steve Santini: Re-assigned to AHL

Santini was re-assigned to AHL Syracuse by the Lightning, the team announced Sunday.

Santini was recalled by the Lightning to serve as a depth option following some injury issues, but it's a good sign those are going to be resolved in time for the team's next game, Thursday against the Blackhawks. The 30-year-old will now return to the AHL, where he has recorded one assist in two appearances so far.
