Maple Leafs' Jacob Quillan: Heads to minors

Quillan was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Wednesday.

Easton Cowan was summoned from the minors in a corresponding move. Quillan had 18 goals and 37 points in 67 regular-season appearances with AHL Toronto last year. He got sent to the minors before the Maple Leafs' season opener against Montreal on Wednesday, but it wouldn't be shocking to see Quillan get some chances to play with the big club in 2025-26.
