Oilers' David Musil: Sent down to minors

Musil was reassigned to AHL Bakersfield on Monday.

Musil failed to crack the lineup during this latest stint in the NHL. In 16 minor league appearances, the blueliner has tallied one goal, five assists, and eight PIM. Given the lack of healthy defensemen, the move to demote Musil could mean that Brandon Davidson (shoulder) will be activated off injured reserve prior to Tuesday's matchup with Columbus.
