Oilers' Jason Demers: Joins big club

Demers was called up from AHL Bakersfield on Thursday.

Demers has spent the bulk of the season with Bakersfield after failing to make the Oilers' roster out of camp. He'll serve as a veteran defensive depth option as long as he's on the NHL roster.
