Penguins' Jeff Carter: Remains out Sunday

Carter (upper body) won't play Sunday against the Avalanche, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports.

This will be the third straight game Carter has missed since suffering the injury. The 39-year-old veteran has nine goals and 12 points in 61 games this season. Jesse Puljujarvi will likely remain in the lineup in Carter's absence.
