Penguins' Josh Currie: Sent to minors

Currie was assigned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Sunday.

Currie has played in just one NHL game over the last two seasons, logging 7:24 of ice time and no points. The 28-year-old will handle a more consistent role in the AHL, where he has generated 10 points through 12 games this year.
