Rangers' Tim Gettinger: Lands on waivers

The Rangers placed Gettinger on waivers Friday, according to CapFriendly.

Gettinger has one assist in 16 career NHL appearances. He tallied 25 points in 45 games with AHL Hartford last season and should spend most of this season in the minors again.
