Red Wings' Brogan Rafferty: Assigned to Grand Rapids

Rafferty was returned to AHL Grand Rapids on Thursday.

The 28-year-old defenseman has yet to play in an NHL game this season. He has been shuffled back and forth from Grand Rapids over the last three weeks and has been a healthy scratch for all seven games he's been with the big club for. The Red Wings do not play again until Feb. 10, so Rafferty should see some playing time with the Griffins over the next nine days.
