Red Wings' Chase Pearson: Called up from minors

Pearson was recalled from AHL Grand Rapids on Monday.

Pearson has played in just two games for the Wings this season in which he's averaged a meager 7:11 of ice time. The 2015 fifth-round pick has underwhelmed in the minors as well with 18 points in 49 games and will be hard-pressed to earn a permanent spot on the NHL roster next year.
