Sabres' Zach Benson: Shifts to IR

Benson (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Monday, per the NHL media site.

Benson last played against Chicago on Oct. 19 and hasn't been skating. He can be activated when he's ready to return, but he will probably be out for a while longer. Benson has been held off the scoresheet in six games while contributing eight shots on goal and four blocked shots this season.
