Senators' Xavier Bourgault: Headed back to AHL

Bourgault has been loaned to AHL Belleville by the Senators, the team announced Sunday.

Bourgault was brought up just after the holiday break concluded and made his NHL debut Saturday, recording three shots on goal in just 6:43 of ice time in a 7-5 loss to Toronto. He won't get a chance at an encore performance, as he's being sent back to AHL Belleville. The 23-year-old has 27 points (nine goals, 18 assists) in 32 games in the AHL.
