Sharks' Brinson Pasichnuk: Sidelined to start camp

Pasichnuk (undisclosed) did not skate on the first day of the Sharks' training camp, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Pasichnuk signed a minor-league deal with AHL San Jose earlier in September, but he's not fit to begin training camp. The 23-year-old will likely serve as a depth defenseman in the Sharks' organization this year. He had no points in four games last year in his first taste of NHL action.
