Sharks' Lane Pederson: Waived by team

Pederson was designated for waivers by the Sharks on Monday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Pederson finds himself likely headed to the minors after the team decided to claim Ryan Dzingel off waivers. In 26 games this year, the 24-year-old Pederson has recorded a mere two assists while averaging 10:32 of ice time.
