NASCAR's scheduled race at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday night has been postponed until Sunday afternoon because of rain, race officials announced.
The race was called just one hour before the green flag was set to wave Saturday after constant rain in the Richmond area persisted all day. The Toyota Owners 400 is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Sunday with Joey Logano starting from the pole position.
This is the second consecutive week NASCAR has had a major delay due to rain after last week's race at Bristol was delayed for nearly four hours.
