How to watch, stream live soccer >>> TV listings for Sept. 7-13

Big soccer fans know that feeling of looking ahead at the slate of wonderful weekend matches and being filled with excitement while having the ability to focus evaporate. It just can't come soon enough. Reactions usually look like this.

This weekend is no different, with plenty of matches that will result in your lack of productivity over the weekend. So, of course, here are the five top matches to watch this weekend for the entire world compared to hit TV shows.

All times EST

5. Inter Milan vs. AC Milan
When: Sunday at 2:45 pm
Where to watch: beIN Sports
TV show comparison: Saturday Night Live
Why watch: Ah, the Derby della Madonnina. Like Saturday Night Live, this used to be a lot better to watch and has progressively gone from great to average. Neither Inter nor AC are their usually fantastic selves, rather shadows of their greatness. But it's one of the biggest rivalries in the world, the two share the same stadium and emotion will be running high.  AC Milan beat Inter in the preseason thanks to one of the best goals of the year.

4. Everton vs. Chelsea
When: Saturday at 7:45 am
Where to watch: NBCSN
TV show comparison: The Walking Dead
Why watch: Not the greatest option there is, but it is still worth checking out. Everton and Chelsea should be a solid game with the Blues going on the road. Neither club has convinced in the early part of the season, so here is a great shot to build momentum. As for those on the west coast who would have to be up at 4:45 am for it, sleep is probably the better option.

3. River Plate vs. Boca Juniors
When: Sunday at 5:15 pm
Where to watch: Youtube
TV show comparison: The Sopranos
Why watch: The Superclasico. Don't be shocked to see blood, and the fans known as the barra bravas (similar to European ultras) are as close to the mafia as you will find. There will be no shortage of crunching tackles, curse words, drama and more in one of the most heated rivalries in sports.

2. Manchester United vs. Liverpool
When: Saturday at 12:30 pm
Where to watch: NBC
TV show comparison: The Wire
Why watch: One of the world's best rivalries, it's a must watch no matter the form of the teams. A classic, skipping your friend's wedding just to watch doesn't make you a bad person. In fact, your friend is the bad one for having a wedding at the same time as this match.

1. Atletico Madrid vs. Barcelona
When: Saturday at 2:30 pm
Where to watch: beIN Sports
TV show comparison: Game of Thrones
Why watch: Two looking to be king, what a match this one should be. A pretty new rivalry that is sure to keep you glued to your seat, can Lionel Messi finds his first league goal of the season against Diego Simeone's squad?  We will see if Messi can do something like this on Saturday.

Which match are you looking forward to?
