WNBA star Brittney Griner has decided not to attend the U.S. women's national basketball team training camp, reports the Associated Press.
Griner was arrested April 22 on suspicion of assault following a fight with her fiancée, fellow WNBA player Glory Johnson, which the WNBA is still investigating.
Griner, a 6-foot-8 center with the Phoenix Mercury, was expected to be one of 27 players at the camp that started Monday.
