Bubba Watson climbs to No. 2 in the world, not catching No. 1 soon
Bubba Watson rises to the No. 2 golfer on the planet, and Tiger Woods is still in free fall mode.

If I would have told you in 2001 that someone named "Bubba" would be No. 2 in the world and someone named "Eldrick" wouldn't be able to crack the top 60, you wouldn't have believed me.
And yet, on Monday it happened.
Bubba Watson ascended to the top two in the world for the first time ever. Here's a look at his rise over the years:

He still has a long way to go to catch world No. 1 Rory McIlroy, though. In fact, as this tweet from Jamie Kennedy shows, Watson is closer to being caught by Bill Haas than he is to catching McIlroy.

As for that Eldrick fella? He's No. 70 -- two spots behind Koumei Oda. Koumei Oda!
